Interested in Buying Properties?
The Northern Illinois Land Bank Authority is seeking qualified individuals, investors and companies that are interested in rehabbing distressed properties in Winnebago, Boone and Stephenson Counties. The Land Bank acquires properties with tax and other liens, clears the title, and sells the properties to be renovated by the purchaser. Properties (commercial and residential) likely need extensive renovation before being occupied.

Have An idea to repurpose The Dennis School site?
Northern Illinois Land Bank Association (NILBA) is seeking land use proposals for the 7.37-acre property at 730 Lincoln Park Boulevard, the former site of Dennis Elementary School. Proposals must revitalize the land with the intent to enrich the community.
To submit a proposal and for more information on purchase specifications, please see the form below. Applications must be completed and submitted to property@r1planning.org. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, beginning on December 8, 2023.
