The Mental Health Workforce Student Support (MHWFSS) Program is a non-competitive funding opportunity for public or nonprofit universities in Winnebago County, IL, with programs that result in a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree, a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, or an advanced nursing degree in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialty.

- Evidence of public or nonprofit status
- Recent financial audit

- Proof of academic calendar year course offering for the eligible degree program
