PY5-6 Renewals is a non-competitive renewal application for the 13 currently funded programs with one-year funding agreements.

CLOSED: Mental Health Workforce Student Support Non-Competitive Funding

The Mental Health Workforce Student Support (MHWFSS) Program is a non-competitive funding opportunity for public or nonprofit universities in Winnebago County, IL, with programs that result in a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree, a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, or an advanced nursing degree in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialty.  

  • Evidence of public or nonprofit status
  • Recent financial audit 
  • Proof of physical campus location in Winnebago County, IL
  • Proof of academic calendar year course offering for the eligible degree program
