Regional Planning Activities
Region 1 Planning Council provides collaborative planning services to local governmental bodies. While core planning activities are those required by the R1’s designation as a Metropolitan Planning Organization, a wide variety of auxillary services are available, such as long-range transportation planning, travel demand modeling, transit planning, land use planning.
Below is a sampling of planning documents that R1 has produced in whole or in part. These publications are in addition to federally required MPO documents.
